Third (3rd) Tuesday of the Month @ 6:00 PM March 17, 2020 April 21, 2020 May 19, 2020 June 16, 2020 July 21, 2020 August 17, 2020 September 15, 2020 October 20, 2020 November 17, 2020 December 15, 2020 January 19, 2021 February 16, 2021 The Guildhall trash hauler, D4 Rubbish Removal, has announced the temporary suspension of the curbside recycling program to help limit community spread of COVID-19. This suspension begins Thursday, March 26th and will remain in place for a minimum of two weeks. Please rinse and store your recycling for pickup when the suspension ends. Any recycled items placed curbside will be treated as trash and discarded in the compactor truck.
If you or someone in your household is sick, please place all recycling in the trash! All other residential trash collection services will remain unchanged. As a precaution, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Guildhall Town Office is closed to the public for walk-in business effective immediately and until further notice. The Town Clerk will remain available to assist you by phone and email.
Town Office hours remain the same - Tuesday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and Thursday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm – but without walk-in service. To reach the Town Clerk, call (802) 676-3797, or email: townclerk@guildhallvt.org The following Town business can be done via mail (or request slipped in the front door slot): accounts payable bills, tax & water payments, dog licenses, copies of property tax bills, Lister cards, copies of tax map parcels, marriage licenses, copies of birth/death/marriage certificates, etc. Please call or email for specific details and/or assistance. Our office will assist Land records and historical document research remotely as best we can. No walk-in. Please call or email for assistance. We encourage everyone to follow CDC and Department of Health hand-washing and social distancing recommendations. Thank you for understanding that these are unusual times, requiring precautions for public safety and health. The DUE DATE for Dog Licenses has been EXTENDED to May 1, 2020.

This includes cancelling all events open to the public and/or community groups, as well as Town sponsored events. Specifically Tuesday, March 17 – Selectboard meeting postponed to March 31st Saturday, March 21 – Rabies Clinic cancelled Saturday, March 21 – CTVSR meeting cancelled Tuesday, March 24 – Planning Board meeting cancelled Saturday, March 28 – Newell brunch cancelled April and May events and meetings are also currently cancelled. Organizers should contact the Town Clerk with their “go/no-go” decision deadline date so that they can be notified with an updated status report at that time.
