NOTICE | TOWN OF GUILDHALL | INVITATION TO BID

1. Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Guildhall, Vermont, hereinafter referred to as the "Owner," for proposals for annual assessment services, dated June 16, 2026, and described more fully in the “Request for Proposal for Town Assessor Services”, on or before 3:00 o'clock, in the PM, August 18, 2026 at the Guild Hall (Town Office), PO Box 10, 13 Courthouse Dr., Guildhall, VT 05905, at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read.

2. All bids must respond fully to the “Request for Proposal for Town Assessor Services” which is available from the Town Clerk by:

• B. Phone: 802-676-3797 (voice mail when office is closed)
• C. In Person: Tuesdays 9 am – 3 pm or Thursdays 9 am – 3 pm.

3. A bidder may withdraw any proposal submitted prior to the hour set for the closing of the bids provided the request is signed in a manner identical with the proposal being withdrawn.

4. The Town of Guildhall will be responsible for payment in accordance with the terms of the contract.

5. The Guildhall Selectboard reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

The Guildhall Planning Commission hereby provides notice of a public hearing being held pursuant to 24 VSA § 4444 for the purpose of hearing public comments concerning the proposed changes to Guildhall Zoning Bylaw. 

The public hearing has been scheduled for July 22, 2026 (Wednesday) at 6:30pm at the Guildhall Town Clerk's Office. 

The full context of the proposed changes can be viewed at the Guildhall Town Clerk's Office Tuesday and Thursday from 8:45am to 2:45pm. You may review the proposed Zoning Bylaws here.

Public hearing to be held at Guildhall Town Hall 13 Courthouse Drive on July 15, 2026 at 6:30PM. 

Participation at this hearing is required to preserve your rights as an applicant or interested party to participate in any appeal of a decision made by the Planning Board and Historic District Commission on the above matter. See 24 VSA § 4471.
