The Vermont statewide primary election will be held on August 28, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until 7 p.m., at the Guild Hall. The purpose of this election is to select candidates for statewide offices from the Democratic, Progressive, and Republican parties.
Those wishing to vote by early/absentee ballot may pick up ballots at the Town Clerk's office during its office hours any time between now and the close of the Town Office on August 27, 2012; the Town Office will be open from 3 to 5 p.m. on that date for the purpose of filling requests for early/absentee ballots. Please remember that, in order to be counted, early/absentee ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk by 7 p.m. (the close of the polls) on August 28th.
