Any person interested in purchasing the property may submit a bid to the Town Clerk's Office (the Guild Hall), Guildhall, Vermont, during the Town Clerk's hours (see "Town Clerk" on this website) between November 21, 2011 and November 29, 2011. No bids will be accepted after 6 p.m. on November 29, 2011. The Select Board reserves the right to refuse any or all bids, at its discretion.
Interested buyers are invited to inspect the survey recently produced for the Town, but no person is entitled to rely upon it. The parcel will be conveyed as-is, with no warranties, by quitclaim deed.

This notice is posted at three public places within Guildhall, including the Town Clerk's office, and it will be published in at least one newspaper of general circulation no less than thirty days prior to the date of conveyance. If a petition signed by fiver percent of the legal voters of the Town objecting to the conveyance is presented to the Clerk within thirty days of the date of this posting of the date of publication, whichever is later, the Select Board will present the question of whether the Town shall convey this real estate as proposed to a special or annual Town meeting.
