DAR PRESENTATION AT GUILDHALL LIBRARY
If you believe you have a relative who served in the American Revolution or are curious about finding out how to determine if a relative served, please join us on Saturday, September 14th at 1:00 p.m. when representatives from the Vermont Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be at the library on the Common in Guildhall, Vermont to provide information and answer questions on the history of DAR, resources available to members and non-members, requirements for membership and how to locate a local chapter.
Edna Curtin, State Regent, will provide a video introducing the society at the national level and share her experience at the national and state level. Sheryl Marcoux, State Registrar, will speak on the application process and genealogical requirements for membership, and Stephanie Hockensmith, Regent of the St John de Crevecoeur Chapter, will speak on finding and applying to a local chapter.
This informational presentation is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend.
