The Town Office will be CLOSED to regular business on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 due to the Vermont Primary Election which will be taking place at the Guild Hall.
Two Guildhall residents are needed to work the Polls for the Tuesday, August 9, 2016 Vermont State Primary election. One person is needed to manage the Entrance Checklist for the 1 - 4 PM shift. The other is needed to manage the Entrance Checklist for the 4 - 7 PM shift. The duties include recording the Voter's name and handing them the Primary Ballots. There are two vacancies for Town Officers:
1. Town Agent, and 2. Grand Juror Any resident of Guildhall who would like to serve in either or both these 1 year positions should write a letter to the Selectboard expressing their interest. The Municipal and Education Tax Rates (per $100 valuation) for Guildhall for 2016 are:

Forms for both major party JP nominations by committee or caucus, and petitions and consent forms for Independent JP candidates can be found on the Secretary of State's website, on the Candidates page. New Voter Registration deadline for the VT State Primary election is 5:00 PM, Wednesday, August 3, 2016. The Town Office will be open from 3 - 5 PM for that purpose.
