The Vermont Primary Election will be taking place from 10 AM to 7 PM. The Historic District Commission will meet Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 6:30 PM on the Guildhall Common to review and act upon a zoning permit request. Bruno McKenzie is applying for permission to build a back porch and carriage shed garage on the property located at 51 Bridge St.
Guildhall voters are encouraged to request an early ballot for the August 11 Vermont State Primary election which can be filled out safely at home and mailed back postage paid or dropped off at the Town Office.
To request ballots, mail the postcard you received or call 676-3797 or email townclerk@guildhallvt.org. Thank you to the 74 voters who have already made the request (30 have returned them so far!). Have you completed the 2020 U.S. Census form?
It is important to do so. Both full time residents and folks with seasonal camps need to complete a form for their Guildhall address. The population count is used to determine many types of government funding eligibility for the Town.
