USDA trapping project

Over the next week or two the USDA Wildlife Service will be in the area trapping small animals (raccoons. skunks, etc) and assaying the levels of rabies immunity.  The project helps inform the August rabies vaccine bait drop program.

New Traffic Control STOP signs - Bridge St

New Traffic Control signs to be installed on Bridge Street.

On July 28th the Town expects to install STOP signs for traffic coming over the Northumberland bridge on Bridge Street to merge with VT Route 102.

The STOP signs will be for both the North and South bound forks at the traffic triangle, as per the revised Traffic Control Ordinance passed by the Selectboard last fall.

Justice of the Peace nominations

The Town Clerk will accept nominations for the November 6, 2018 election for Justice of the Peace until 5:00 PM, Friday, August 17, 2018.

Major Political Parties may nominate individuals or slates by submitting a list to the Town Clerk on or before the deadline using the Party Nomination form -
