Rabies Clinic 2014

This year’s rabies clinic will be held at the Guild Hall on Sat., 3/15/2014, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.  Residents of Guildhall and Maidstone will be able to vaccinate their dogs for rabies and obtain their 2014 dog licenses all in one convenient stop.  Other than the rabies vaccine ($13.00, available for both cats and dogs), the following shots will also be available: distemper ($13.00, available for both cats and dogs), kennel cough ($13.00, dogs only), Lyme disease ($22.00, dogs only) and leukemia ($22.00, cats only).



Meeting about new trash law

Act 148, also known as the universal recycling law, will dramatically change the way Guildhall residents dispose of trash starting in 2015.  To make sure residents have the opportunity to be informed about the changes, the Guildhall Selectboard is sponsoring a public meeting on Wed., May 7, 2014, at the Guild Hall, during which Paul Tomasi, Executive Director of the Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District (NEKWMD), will discuss Act 148 and its implications for Guildhall.
