CALL FOR PETITIONS If anyone is interested in running for any of the offices listed below, nominating petitions and consent of candidate forms are due in the Town Office by 5:00PM on Monday, January 26, 2015. These forms can be obtained from the Town Clerk or on the Secretary of State’s website (https://www.sec.state.vt.us/elections/candidates/local-candidates.aspx). However, to ensure continuity, the Town Clerk/Treasurer will perform his functions as usual up to and including Town Meeting Day (up until the votes are counted, at which point the victor in the election will take over). Board chairpersons and Town Officers are reminded that Annual Reports for inclusion in the 2014 Town Report are due on or before Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Word documents are preferred. The Guildhall School Board will meet on Wed., Jan. 14, 2014, at 6 p.m., at the Guildhall School. The agenda is here.
The Grants Cmte. will meet Tues., 1.13.2014, at 7 p.m., at the Guild Hall, to discuss ongoing grants proposals.
The first Cabin Fever concert of 2015 will take place on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 6:30 p.m., at the Guild Hall. The evening will begin with an open mic, to be followed by the night's featured performers, Ashely Miles and Victor Tremblay. There is a $5.00 cover charge (all proceeds will go to local charitable organizations).
The Grants Committee will meet Mon., 1/5/2015, at 7 p.m., at the Guild Hall, to discuss ongoing plans for grant applications for renovations to the Guild Hall.
