REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT VTA2011-A01
The Vermont Telecommunications Authority (VTA) is seeking public input on issues effecting cellular coverage in Vermont, and how the State can best promote cellular expansion. The VTA invites the general public, industry representatives, local government, regional planning and economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, businesses and business organizations, and anyone else interested in the expansion of cellular services in Vermont to comment on the topics and questions contained in RFC VTA2011-A01, located at http://www.telecomvt.org/resources/public-comments.php. Comments should be written in paper or electronic format, preferably in Microsoft Word format or as a PDF and emailed with a subject of “Comments on Cellular Coverage in Vermont” to the VTA at info@telecomvt.org. DATES: This Request for Public Comment is being issued June 24, 2011. Comments must be received by July 22, 2011. The Guildhall Selectboard's monthly meeting for June will take place on Monday, June 27th, at 7:00 p.m., at the Guild Hall.

AT THE GUILD HALL, GUILDHALL, VERMONT The Guildhall Zoning Board will convene at the Guild Hall at the above stated time and place to consider a zoning permit application submitted by Richard Rosser on 1 Mar 11 in regards to the location of an 8x8 storage shed in the Guildhall Village District. Said permit, complete copies of which are on file at the Town Office, were referred to the Zoning Board for deliberation and decision on the proposed location. Saturday, June 18, 2011 will be the first of two Bulky Days held in Guildhall this year (the second will be held on Saturday, November 5th). The event will last from 8 a.m. to noon. The event is limited to Guildhall residents only. Examples of acceptable materials include, but are not limited to, the following: mattresses, box springs, rugs, carpet, treated wood, couches, chairs, toilets, sinks, sheetrock, fiberglass, painted wood, and shingles.
Please note that this event will also include hazardous waste collection; this part of the event is open to any residents of the Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District. Examples of hazardous waste include, but are not limited to, ammonia, mothballs, mercury thermometers, car batteries, dioxins, pesticides, rat poison, antifreeze, waste oil and filters, and CFLs. Please do not include alkaline batteries (place these in the regular trash), asbestos, gun powder or other explosives, live ammunition, flares, infectious waste, latex paint (please dry out the paint and throw the solid paint away in the regular trash), prescription drugs, radioactive waste, smoke detectors, unknown gas cylinders, and empty containers.
