The ballot for the March 5, 2012 NEKWMD (Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District) vote is now posted at the Town Clerk's office; a sample is available here (please note that this sample ballot is for informational purposes only and should not be printed out and submitted as an absentee ballot; such submissions will not be accepted).
1. The Board of Civil Authority (BCA) will meet on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at 7 p.m., at the Guild Hall, for its traditional pre-election meeting.
2. If you are eligible to vote but are not currently registered and would like to vote in the Town Officer election on 3/5/2013 and/or would like to participate fully in Town Meeting, you must register to vote by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 2.27.2013. The Town Office will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 2.27.2013 for the purpose of registering new voters. 3. The deadline to request an early/absentee ballot for the Town Officer election is Monday, 3.4.2013, at 5:00 p.m. The Town Office will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 3.4.2013 for the purpose of receiving requests. 4. If you are voting early/absentee in the Town Officer election, please remember that, in order to be counted, those ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk by 7:00 p.m. on election day (3.5.2013). Feel free to contact the Town Clerk if you have any questions. The Guildhall Selectboard will meet on Monday, 2/18/2013, at 7 p.m., at the Guild Hall, for its monthly meeting.
